UPDATE: The winner of the Fractions for Fourth Graders Pack is Cherie! An e-mail is coming your way : )
I was in the mood to make some charts last week. I don't know why, and it doesn't happen very often but I made three different charts and that is a lot for me! Usually I stick to the whiteboard and erase my masterpieces after we talk about them : ) Since I did promise some pictures here are the charts I created and used last week. Oh and I ran out of white paper...so I had to go with manila.

First we jumped head first into our editing unit this week. I use the Lucy Calkin's Units of Writing loosely and this chart is modeled from her lesson. We will work on editing for the next 2-3 weeks.
We had to review formal vs. informal writing since my kiddos thought informal writing meant to write mean things about the other person. Even though this was clearly not what we learned earlier, but anyway we needed some review so, we used this little sort that I threw together and I plan on adding to it this week.
We also began our NBT math standards and started off with how to show a number. We had briefly touched on this at the beginning of the year so they knew most of them and we haven't done anything with money (besides our behavior bank) so they aren't very good with that yet. Remember this chart from last year? Well here's this year's chart. Not sure why it looks so yellow but it is really colorful. I like to create charts again with each class since they get so much more out of than if I just taped up last years charts. Plus, I like to try new things when I make new charts.
In ELA this week we will work on week two of my Freedom unit which is all about Martin Luther King Jr. We set up some background knowledge by reading Magic Tree House: Civil War on Sunday last week. We discussed slavery and the outcome of the Civil War in very simple terms so we will jump forward a few years to start talking about Civil Rights over the next three weeks.
Also my sweet husband and I worked together this week on a new pack for his 4th graders! I know this is a Primary blog and that usually means K-2 but if anyone is interested or knows anyone who teaches 4th here is our collaboration! It is jammed packed with games, centers and activities to teach the 4th grade fraction standards. The packet is directly aligned to the 4th grade CCSS.
If anyone is interested in winning a FREE copy of this 4th grade pack, comment below (don't forget to leave your e-mail) and we will announce a winner tomorrow night!
Fractions are one great topic to teach! My son is learning them right now. Fingers crossed.

This is Adrian, who has been a victim of the BITCOIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCY Scam recently. I have been scammed $350,000 during this fake Chinese Bitcoin. I lost all my life savings. I have paid attention to the fraud website and noticed that the scam website was shut down on 12/07/2023. Just now, I read a news article regarding the Pig Butchering Scam in Delaware. The Delaware DOJ initiated a halt to the Pig Butchering Crypto Scams. The enforcement policemen issued a cease-and-desist order to wallets, accounts, and individuals. This encouraged me because the scam website that robbed me just stopped. It may not be too late to take action against cyber criminals. As the scammers copied the real American Crypto Company, they are most likely in the States. I didn’t stop at that I had to also look for alternatives to get my money back, so I had to contact BRIGADIA TECH REMIKEABLE who helped me recover my money and my friend as well. I can't thank them enough so I had to make this 5-star review.

Beware whom you communicate with when dealing with Blockchain.com | Buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and more with trust. They are not always employees of Blockchain, but scammers. I have recently been defrauded of £3800. 2 scammers named Jack Martins and Kai Hunter claim to be Blockchain employees however neither have an official email address and Blockchain has informed me that it is a scam. I have reported the crypto wallet recovery scam to my bank's Action Fraud, FSA, and Fraud Department. I resigned to losing my funds, yet reporting these scams is important. They are unashamedly nonplussed at taking your money and continue to troll the net looking for someone to dupe, like me 73, and a pensioner. UPDATE 22 July. Having complained to P Smith C.E.O of Blockchain. His dept verified they had not received any funds I sent and yes it was a scam. Just to add salt to my wounds they requested £500 to open my wallet and get a refund of funds. I refused stating I had lost all my savings to a scam and would not give Blockchain something I don't have. It sounded more like a ransom demand! They cut off communications knowing I had nothing left. But all thanks to one recovery company i read their reviews on Google and i was able to recover 80% of my total cash thanks heavens if you have experienced the same thing you can contact them via: Helps also with the withdrawal of money stuck in your wallet Email them :(Brigadiatechremikeable@Proton.me)

ReplyDeleteI have always taken a security-first approach with my Bitcoin. That's why I put my hardware wallet in a fireproof safe-because you never know. Turned out I should have been even more paranoid.
A few months ago, a fire took hold in my house. I lost nearly everything: the electronics, furniture, irreplaceable memorabilia. But when I dug through the remains, there it was: my Ledger hardware wallet, somehow intact. I held it up like some sort of post-apocalyptic movie scene, thinking, "At least my Bitcoin survived."
But then, fate was not quite done with me: when I powered it on, it showed no signs of life whatsoever. The heat had fried the internal chip, and all I had was a melted, lifeless brick. That's when I realized my entire $680,000 in Bitcoin was trapped inside.
At first, I told myself: "There has to be a way." From forensic data recovery to DIY repair tricks, everything I could conceivably Google, I researched. I considered buying an identical Ledger device and swapping components: spoiler, not a good idea unless you are an electrical engineer. Nothing worked. Every expert I contacted had the same answer: "Your Bitcoin is gone."
I refused to accept that. That's when I found DUNAMIS CYBER SOLUTION
I was skeptical, to say the least. If the manufacturer couldn't help me, how would they? At that point, I had no other choice but to try them. The first call I made, I immediately knew I was dealing with pros: no absurd promises, no giving of hopes, just explanation of their entire process with clarity-from advanced forensic techniques to secure data reconstruction.
I mailed them my charred wallet, still half expecting a miracle to be impossible. Four days later, an email arrived. The subject line? "We have good news."
They had successfully extracted my seed phrase and restored every single Bitcoin. I couldn't believe it. I had gone from losing everything to recovering $680,000 worth of crypto in just days.
If your hardware wallet is damaged, dead, or seems irreparable, please do not give up. Just call DUNAMIS CYBER SOLUTION. They really did pull off some sort of high-stakes rescue operation on my behalf, and believe me, it was the stuff of legend.
