This week I found myself with a very excited student who had a birthday and I felt terrible. I realized I was unprepared for birthday celebrations. In the classroom I usually had hats that we would wear or a treasure box to pick from. In the speech room, I rarely find myself working with a kiddo on their exact birthday but know I need to make more of an effort to celebrate birthdays throughout the month. So, I figured there may be some teachers (or SLPs) out there with the same problem. I put together a small packet of birthday printables. All printables are in black/white to save ink (and because I don't have a color printer at school). Since I am a visual learner I made some examples to see how they turned out and to use as examples. The best part of this pack is that it's FREE! You can download it for FREE by clicking on the picture below. Since I get this question a lot, I'll go ahead with it and let you know all the clip art used is by Kate Hadfield, she just came out with a great set of celebration clip art which I used along with her party pack! She has her own shop or you can buy sets on TPT that come with an educational use license. I hope it helps others celebrate birthdays throughout the year!
