Pretend play is one of the biggest foundational skills we work on with kiddos who are language delayed. So, when I was browsing on Pinterest this weekend and saw this and this I knew I had to make one! I don't have a circuit or any way to cut vinyl so I made it using full page labels and cutting by hand. You could also use sticker paper. I got most of the supplies from Wal-Mart (bin and some pretend food), Target (pretend food) or Toys R Us (pot and pan set). I used a 38 QT. Sterelite bin. I printed the burners, knobs and temperature stickers on full page label paper I found at Office Depot. I love that it keeps it all super organized and that it's small enough to move in and out. Here are a few pictures of the finished product. Can't wait to start playing! Want to make one for yourself? Click on the picture below to download the stovetop graphics for FREE. ...

The sale for May is happening today! My "must have" this month is my new Interactive Vocabulary Notebook. Here are a few pictures of some of the pages. This is the cover, there is a version with a girl and one with a boy. It has visual word lists for synonyms, antonyms, homophones, and homographs. Larger posters to help with reinforcing understanding or to use as a reference. Pockets to keep exampl...
