Every month with my kiddos we've read a little old lady book but it's taken me until March to finally turn one into a packet. : )  These books are great for developing vocabulary, sequencing and answering questions.  Plus, they're silly which my kids think is so fun.  I plan on using a lot of these materials during this short week leading up to Spring Break!  You can check it out on TPT by clicking on the picture below.  ...
It's time again for another daycare goodie!  I have to admit I love making sweet holiday gifts for Camden's daycare friends.  For Easter we're going with goldfish "carrots"!  These are super easy to make (and affordable!).  I bought the triangular goodie bags from Michaels for $2.18 (in the treat bag section).  I bought the balloon ribbon on clearance from Target for .90 and a big box of goldfish for $7.50. The tags are FREE (I didn't add in cardstock since I already had some) so the whole project cost only $11.  Here are some pictures of the finished "carrots"!  You can download the tags for free by clicking on either picture below (and the adorable clip art is from Kate Hadfield) Hope you can use them, Happy Easter! *Please note this file is NOT editable.  You will have to write the name on the tag.  Sorry!* ...
I don't know about other schools out there but at mine lately I've had a large pile of referrals. Which I hear is common for the end of the school year?  To help organize myself I put together some simple signs, which you can download for free by clicking on the picture below.  If you're a speech therapist (or psychologist/OT/PT) or any other school related service provider I hope you can find them helpful!  ...
I have really been hitting categories hard with a lot of my kiddos in speech and we're still having some trouble fully understanding the concept.  So, I decided we needed to break it down to basic sorting skills and my new Sorting Mats pack was born!  Here are some pictures of how they turned out.   I decided to make them into file folders for organizational purposes.  You could just print the sorting page and picture cards without making them into a file folder.  I also haven't decided if I want to add Velcro to them or not.  Velcro will help not let the cards go everywhere but then the kids will know a certain number of pictures go in each category.  Either way, they are going to be super helpful.  You can check out the file on TPT by clicking on any of the pictures below.  I stapled a ziploc bag in each folder to hold the cards neatly.  Some of the of the sorting mats have two categories and some have four.    If you follow me on instagram you...
March is one of my favorite months for themes.  If you've been reading the blog for a while you'll know that I love using themes and March had some really fun ones! Here are some pictures of some of the things we're using to target our speech/language goals this month. We made some speech rainbow this week from my All About Color packet.  Not all of my groups made theirs so we'll make a few next week too. Each strip contained words that were specific to each kiddos goals.  Our hallway is so bright and colorful right now! A few of my older kiddos made pots of gold with their targeted sounds.  You can see them if you look closely in the picture above.   You can grab these rainbow activities from this packet. This week coming up will be all about Shamrocks and March vocabulary!  I printed and prepped my St. Patrick's Bingo game.   These have been a favorite to play in the last 5 minutes of our sessions or with my kiddos who are working on bui...
